HM unveils vehicle exchange offer for state

KOLKATANS have a reason to rejoice. Hindustan Motors has just unveiled an ‘attractive vehicle exchange offer’ for West Bengal.

Under this scheme, an individual can exchange his car of any make from Hindustan Motors’ dealers for a brand new Ambassador diesel. The company has decided to offer a minimum exchange value of Rs 50,000 for the old car. The offer, which is coinciding with the festive season of the state, will be valid for a limited period, the company said in a media statement issued on Monday.

Ambassador car has been upgraded several times over the years. Apart from space, comfort, safety and sturdiness, the Ambassador these days also has contemporary features including 2,000 cc turbo charged diesel engine, 1,500 cc DSL engine, power steering and power window, moulded door pad, mobile charge station as well as a large boot space. The car is also available in attractive metallic colours such as symphony silver, symphony gold and magic black.

The maintenance cost of Ambassador cars are lowest in its category. The ease with which it can be repaired coupled with the availability of trained mechanics across the country gives Ambassador car owners an added advantage. The price of the cars spare parts are also cheaper and easily available all over India.

Incidentally, the Ambassador 1,500 DSL engine has been upgraded and offers a mileage of 16 km per litre in city.
